Iran Shipowners' Union
Iran Shipowners’ Union currently, with over 110 corporate and individual members and ownership of more than 1,100 coastal and ocean-going vessels, as well as various types of service craft with a gross tonnage (GRT) exceeding 12 million tons, is one of the largest unions of vessel owners in the region.
This large commercial fleet, with its extensive facilities in domestic and international waters, operates between Iranian ports and other countries, and is responsible for the exchange of goods, passengers, and other offshore services.
This union, through coordination, preparation of guidelines, guidance, and timely actions, leads and provides services to all its members to achieve their noble goals.

Iran Shipowners' Union Services
The Iran Shipowners’ Union provides various services to its members, including legal and financial consulting, offering specialized solutions in the shipping industry, coordinating access to domestic and international financial facilities, and cooperating with banks and financial institutions. The Union also contributes to skill development and dispute resolution for its members by organizing specialized training courses and establishing an arbitration chamber. Other services include concluding collective agreements with insurers, supporting scientific and industrial research, and establishing scholarship funds to attract and train specialized human resources in the shipping industry.
